Michelle Scalpone was born to be a stage manager. As a child growing up in Arizona, there was nothing she enjoyed more than going to the movies or the touring theatre, absorbing the scenes and stories like a sponge. At age 13 after seeing the touring production of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, she was decided to turn her passion into a successful career. Beginning with stage managing during high school, getting her BFA in Theater Production with a emphasis in stage management, and an internship at The Juilliard School allowing her now be an alumni of the school.

As a  professional production stage manager and assistant stage manager, she have had the fortune to demonstrate strong communication, organization, scheduling, managing large casts & crews, and all the while having a positive personality. These skills have led me to easily work high volume multitasking situations. Her experience is primarily in new musical and contemporary theater. Also she has a good deal of experience working with actors and creatives of a higher social statue; having had the opportunity to work on shows/events with such Broadway and Film luminaries like Lin Manuel Miranda, Aasif Mandvi, Larry David, Susan Stroman, Sam Waterston, Bill Irwin, Lady Gaga, President Bill Clinton, Meryl Streep, and more! All these attributes of stage management are tools that she uses in on all future projects she may work on.

She is always looking for their next project or collaboration,

so if you have production that you would like to work with Michelle, please get in touch.
